It means we have a committed group of local supporters who will help us achieve the project aims and make sure it is meeting the needs, interests and aspirations of our Tiree community.
Heylipol Community Trust is a registered charity in Scotland and membership application forms are available now. We hope to reach 100 members by the end of April 2026, which will support our applications for church building restoration schemes/project funding and also ensure we have lots of input, help and encouragement in the overall project design or planning and building processes.
When?
Who?
Those on the electoral roll for Tiree can become full Members and vote for actions/decisions at meetings.
We also have an Associate Member scheme for those who are not resident on Tiree or are individuals who represent Groups and Businesses.
Associate members cannot vote at meetings but are welcome to attend and can provide input or specialist skills, knowledge and connections.
Members do not have to take on specific roles and can contribute at a level which is entirely comfortable for them.
All involvement is optional and any member can offer their voluntary help with tasks.
